Oleah MTO Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
MTO Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are shoes made on a shoe last (mould) bespoke to my feet?
No, the shoe last will not be bespoke to your feet. As this is a Made-to-Order (MTO) service rather than a bespoke design, your shoes will be crafted on Oleah’s proprietary standard last — thoughtfully developed with wide feet in mind for a comfortable, elegant fit.
-
How do I know my size?
We invite you to our Oleah studio where we will take precise measurements of your feet and let you try an existing style in the same cut. This ensures an accurate fit before we begin crafting your pair.
-
Can I order different sizes for my left and right shoe?
We’re unable to produce different sizes for each foot as the shoes are made in pairs of the same size. However, we can make custom fit adjustments for customers with slight differences in foot length.
-
Can colour and size be changed after I place my order?
Unfortunately, no. By fitting your feet against our existing stock, we can achieve a high degree of sizing accuracy since your MTO pair will be made on the same Oleah last. We also offer custom adjustments to further refine your fit.
-
How long is the wait?
Lead time depends on when your order is placed and where we are in our factory production cycle. On average, expect a wait of 4-5 months.
-
How do I make payment?
Once you decide to proceed, Oleah will collect a 60% deposit to begin crafting your shoes.
- This deposit is refundable only if we are unable to fulfil your order.
- If the order is completed and you choose not to proceed for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited.
